Brass (Miniature)

A miniature full brass replica miners lamp manufactured by J. D. Burford. While this product is not functional, it makes for an inexpensive decorative item to fit inside a small home.

Handmade in Wales by the sons and daughters of coal miners, this striking Welsh Miners Lamp has been finished with a modern style in mind. Paying homage to the working lamps that were once carried below, providing light and safety for all who worked in the mine. A large official looking stamp has been displayed on the front of the body while the large hook to the top allows the lamp to be displayed on either a shelf or hung from the ceiling. Designed as a functional replica, this lamp is fuelled by kerosene lamp oil and produces the gentle flicker of candlelight - perfect for creating a much-desired ambient mood. Please note: this description does not apply to the brass miniature product as it is not functional.
